Bill & Payne Stewart Municipal Golf Course -Regulation, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Springfield, Missouri.
The course was first opened for play in 1947. It was designed by Perry Maxwell.
The course plays to 6,172 yards from the back tees with Par being 70. The White tees are set at 5,875 yards and The Red tees measure 5,360 yards. The design of the course requires accurate iron play and puts a premium on putting. The layout is both challenging and fun.

This course needs some maintenance. I played here only because of the name, but won't play again. Very long, could be fun, but in poor condition. Much better courses in this area. Rivercut course was wonderful, also owned by the city.. how can they have two such different courses...
